DeeDee Catron – Don’t Be Late – Cold Country Tag Duo video

Hi Folks! :) DeeDee here today to bring you a fun Tag Duo made from 7 Dots Studio’s Cold Country.

I also get to share a video tutorial with you on creating the background. Grab supplies like tags, 7 Dots Studio stamps, Versafine ink, gesso, distress ink, watercolor paint, water, foam applicator, spatula and a heat gun. You’ll need them all! Please watch the following video for info:

After the background work I just built up the themes of the tags with embellishments that I had. My work is a lot of playing, moving things around, testing them out, and then trying it another way. This makes it difficult to video the process, as you’d literally just see me piling things up in a bunch of various ways, lol.

One little tidbit I do want to point out is that I stamped the White Rabbit on a nice heavy watercolor paper, so that it would stand up to the other thick dimensional pieces of the tag. I also snipped the name of the paper out of it’s title strip at the bottom and used it as an embellishment in a memo pin.
